Using MOSFET install in power supply instead of Schottky Diode and the low resistance characteristic of MOSFET can improve efficiency greatly,reducing power loss and heat,and extending the life of power supply.

The power supply provide over voltage protection,over current protection,short circuit protection, overload protection.When the protection function is triggered, the power supply will be turned off automatically and after malfuction(cause the protection function) solved, the power supply will restart.
