What is the NovaStar LCB4K?
The LCB4K is a professional LCD player that stores, decodes and outputs multimedia content to an LCD display or LED display system. Operators can publish content and manage screens from a computer, phone or tablet. Wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi are built in, while compatible 4G/5G connectivity is available through an optional module.

4K videoafspilning
The quad-core ARM processor decodes H.264 and H.265 video at up to 4K@60Hz. The player can handle multiple video windows, including up to two 4K, six 1080p, ten 720p or twenty 360p videos.
Adaptive or custom HDMI output
In adaptive mode, the LCB4K reads the display EDID and automatically adjusts the playback-window resolution. Custom mode lets the operator set the output resolution manually for a specific display workflow.
Flexible content publishing and control
Use the USB Type-A ports for media playback and firmware upgrades. The USB Type-B port connects to a control computer for content publishing and screen management. Gigabit Ethernet supports network publishing and remote control, while Wi-Fi can switch between AP and STA modes.
Synchronized multi-screen playback
The LCB4K supports synchronized playback across multiple screens. NTP synchronization works directly over the network. GPS or RF time synchronization requires the corresponding optional module. For synchronized playback, the stated limit is one 4K video.
Optional mobile-network connectivity
A 4G/5G module is not included and must be purchased separately. According to the current product specification, 5G network support is limited to China. When several network types are available, the connection priority is wired Ethernet, then Wi-Fi, then 4G/5G.
