Choosing and connecting the S2
Use the S2 when a PC-based LED display system needs a DVI input and two network outputs. Connect the DVI source to the card, link its RJ45 outputs to the receiving card chain, and connect USB Type-B to the PC for configuration. USB Type-A can cascade another sending card. Plan the screen mapping within both the 1.31-million-pixel total and the 2560-pixel width and height limits.
The Colorlight specification lists CAT5E transmission up to 140 m and CAT6 up to 170 m under its stated conditions; actual cable quality and installation can affect the usable distance. Audio input and synchronous transmission are optional, so confirm the supplied card configuration before relying on audio.
