UHP-200A-4.2 and UHP-200A-4.5 model selection
These Mean Well power supplies provide different low-voltage outputs for compatible LED display modules, signs and channel letters. Choose the output required by the LED load. The UHP-200A series name does not mean every voltage version delivers 200W.
| Parameter | Specification |

Thermal installation
Follow the manufacturer mounting instructions: the specified load curves require installation on an aluminum plate or suitable cabinet surface. The datasheet also calls for at least 5cm of space around the supply for heat dissipation.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the 4.2V and 4.5V models?
Their rated outputs are 4.2V/168W and 4.5V/180W respectively. Both have a 40A rated current.
Are both versions rated at 200W?
No. 200W is the rating of the 5V member of this series. Use the exact-model power values above.
Can I choose either model for the same LED module?
Use the module manufacturer voltage requirements and permitted adjustment range. Do not choose solely by the 40A current rating.
Does fanless mean no heatsinking is needed?
No. Follow the specified mounting surface and clearance requirements to meet the load and temperature curves.
Is UHP-200A the same as UHP-200?
They are separate model series. Compare the complete part number, dimensions and electrical specifications before replacement.
