Video Processing and Display Control Features
Three independent layers
The MX30 can display up to three independent layers. Layer size and position can be adjusted, and the Z-order can be changed to place content in the required foreground or background position.
Flexible screen scaling
Four scaling modes are available, including custom scaling and pixel-to-pixel display. This helps operators match source content to standard canvases, wide LED walls and other custom resolutions.
HDR and precise color adjustment
HDR is supported for content that requires a wider visual range. The controller also provides adjustment for 12 standard colors derived from black, white and the RGB primary colors, including hue, saturation and brightness controls.
Full-grayscale calibration
When used with the NovaStar high-precision calibration system and C3200 scientific-grade camera, the system can generate correction coefficients for individual grayscale levels. This improves grayscale uniformity and overall LED display image quality.
Low-latency operation
The MX30 supports low-latency processing without reducing loading capacity. In independent master mode, controller-side latency can be reduced to 0 frames (less than 1 ms). In video controller mode, controller-side latency is 1 frame. An additional 0 to 2 frames of delay can also be configured when synchronization requires it.
Irregular screen mapping
Special-shaped LED screens are not restricted to a rectangular frame. Blank canvas areas are not counted toward loading capacity; Ethernet-port loading is calculated from the combined pixels of the connected LED cabinets.
Frame-rate adaptation and monitoring
The controller adapts to multiple input frame rates, including fractional rates. Users can define a frame rate and fine-tune it in 0.01 Hz steps. Device and display status monitoring provides fault and alarm information for faster troubleshooting.
