NovaStar N9 LED Wall Switcher Overview
The NovaStar N9 is a professional multi-screen video switcher designed for large LED walls, live events, rental staging, broadcast environments, conference venues and control rooms. It combines multi-format video input, multilayer composition, seamless switching, mosaic output and real-time monitoring in one 4U unit.
A single N9 supports up to 9 video inputs and 4 DVI program outputs. It can drive an ultra-wide LED canvas up to 15360 x 600 pixels, process as many as 7 layers simultaneously and create a point-to-point 8K-class mosaic. Multiple N9 units can also be cascaded when a production requires more output capacity.

What Is the NovaStar N9 Used For?
The N9 is used to switch, scale, crop, layer and combine multiple video sources before sending the finished image to an LED display system. It is a practical choice when operators need reliable source changes, preview/program monitoring and precise pixel mapping across a wide or high-resolution LED wall.
- Rental and staging: manage presentation computers, cameras and media servers during concerts, launches and touring shows.
- Large conferences: combine slides, remote speakers, live camera feeds and branded backgrounds.
- Exhibitions and media centers: build multi-window layouts for ultra-wide or irregular LED canvases.
- Broadcast and control rooms: monitor inputs, preview the next source and keep outputs synchronized.

Control and Workflow
The N9 can be operated from its front panel or through NovaStar V-Can smart management software. Ethernet provides network control, USB Type-B connects the control computer, and USB Type-A supports cascading between N9 units. Genlock input and loop connectors synchronize cascaded devices.
For live productions, the N9 can be paired with the NovaStar C1 desktop console. This gives operators a more direct control surface for source selection, presets and layer management while retaining the N9’s processing and output capabilities.
