LPV-60 12V and 24V Constant-Voltage Supplies
Mean Well LPV-60-12 and LPV-60-24 provide two voltage options for compatible LED lighting and sign systems. Select the version that matches the load voltage, then check the current demand against its 60W rating.

Choose by Load Voltage and Installation
A 12V load requires the 12V version; the 24V version is not a direct substitute. For an LED display, check the actual module voltage instead of selecting a supply from the display category alone.
The specification allows outdoor use without direct sunlight exposure and limits immersion conditions. Install suitable cable joints and follow the thermal and input-voltage derating curves. The 300VAC surge statement is a short-duration test condition, not a continuous input rating.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between LPV-60-12 and LPV-60-24?
Both are rated at 60W. LPV-60-12 provides 12V/5A, while LPV-60-24 provides 24V/2.5A.
Can either model power a 5V LED display module?
Neither provides a 5V output. Select a supply that matches the module’s actual voltage requirement.
Is LPV-60 a constant-current driver?
No. These models use a constant-voltage design.
Can it run continuously at 300VAC?
No. The continuous AC input range is 90–264VAC. The surge withstand statement is a separate short-duration condition.
Can I install LPV-60 outdoors?
Follow the specification’s outdoor installation conditions, including avoiding direct sunlight exposure and providing suitable cable connections. IP67 does not mean unrestricted immersion.
