Novastar CVT10 Pro-S/M Fiber Converter for LED Displays
The Novastar CVT10 Pro-S (single-mode) and CVT10 Pro-M (multi-mode) are professional fiber converters for long-distance LED display data transmission. They provide full-duplex, interference-resistant links between a Novastar sending device and receiving cards, helping installers maintain stable video performance in venues, rental stages, control rooms and fixed LED walls.
Why choose CVT10 Pro-S / CVT10 Pro-M?
- Choose the right fiber mode: Pro-S uses single-mode fiber for long runs; Pro-M uses multi-mode fiber for shorter in-building runs.
- High-bandwidth fiber: two factory-installed, hot-swappable fiber modules support up to 10 Gbit/s per port.
- Flexible Ethernet routing: ten Ethernet ports provide up to 1 Gbit/s each. Use fiber-in/Ethernet-out or Ethernet-in/fiber-out according to the connected Novastar controller.
- Rugged installation: dustproof and waterproof housing supports horizontal rack mounting or suspended truss mounting with clamps.
- Simple service: one Type-B USB control port supports setup and maintenance.
Ports and signal workflow
| Configuration | Supported connection |
|---|---|
| Fiber in → Ethernet out | With an 8/16-port input device, the first 8 Ethernet outputs are available; with a 10/20-port device, all 10 outputs are available. |
| Ethernet in → Fiber out | All 10 Ethernet ports are available for sending data to the fiber link. |
| Fiber modules | 2 hot-swappable ports, up to 10 Gbit/s per port. |
| Control | 1 × Type-B USB control port. |
Note: Ethernet ports 9 and 10 may be enabled by a future firmware upgrade when they are unavailable on the connected input device. Confirm controller compatibility and fiber type before ordering.
Installation guidance
- Select CVT10 Pro-S for single-mode fiber infrastructure or CVT10 Pro-M for multi-mode fiber infrastructure.
- Connect the fiber link, then connect Ethernet outputs to the LED receiving-card network.
- Mount the converter in a rack or secure it to a truss with suitable clamps; keep airflow and service access clear.
- Use the USB control port for commissioning and verify link status before powering the LED display.
