The Novastar MRV470 is a 24-group EMC LED display receiving card — the electromagnetic-compatible version of the widely deployed Novastar MRV270. It is built for LED display cabinets, rental screens and fixed installations that have to stay inside strict EMC limits, cutting the electromagnetic radiation of the whole system without giving up grayscale, refresh rate or calibration accuracy. This page covers the MRV470-1, MRV470-2, MRV470-3 and MRV470-4 variants.

MRV470 vs MRV270: what is the difference?
The MRV470 uses the same control platform as the Novastar MRV270 — 24 groups of data output, 256 × 226 resolution, MOM support and pixel-by-pixel calibration — and adds EMC shielding that lowers the electromagnetic radiation of the entire LED display system. If a project has to satisfy CE-EMC Class B limits, the MRV470 is the version to order; where EMC is not a requirement, the standard MRV270 remains an alternative.
Which MRV470 variant do I need?
The MRV470 is available in four hardware variants — MRV470-1, MRV470-2, MRV470-3 and MRV470-4. All four share the same 24-group EMC receiving card platform; select the version that matches your LED display cabinet from the options above before adding the card to your cart. If you are not sure which one fits your screen, contact us with your cabinet model and we will confirm it for you.

Where the MRV470 is used
The MRV470 is a receiving card for LED display cabinets and modules. It is the right choice when a project has to meet CE-EMC Class B limits, and it is normally used inside a Novastar LED display control system alongside Novastar sending cards and the Novastar calibration workflow. Typical installations include indoor and outdoor fixed LED screens and rental LED displays.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Novastar MRV470?
The Novastar MRV470 is an EMC LED display receiving card. It outputs 24 groups of data, supports up to 256 × 226 resolution per card and is the electromagnetic-compatible version of the Novastar MRV270.
How many data groups does the MRV470 output?
A single MRV470 card outputs 24 groups of RGB data and supports a resolution of 256 × 226.
Does the MRV470 support MOM (Memory On Module)?
Yes. The MRV470 supports Memory On Module, so calibration coefficients and LED module information can be stored on the module and read back from the configuration file.
What certifications does the Novastar MRV470 have?
The card complies with the EU CE-EMC Class B standard and with the RoHS standard.
What is the difference between the MRV470-1, MRV470-2, MRV470-3 and MRV470-4?
They are the four hardware variants of the same MRV470 EMC receiving card. Choose the variant that matches your LED display cabinet from the options on this page.
